What is Cloze?
Cloze is an app that lets people anonymously express their feelings for someone they already know — a colleague, classmate, or friend. Someone in your life used Cloze to let you know they have feelings for you, without revealing who they are.
Your privacy is protected. We do not know — and cannot tell you — who sent this message. The sender's identity is only revealed if you correctly identify them through the app. There is no pressure to participate.
Someone who knows you entered your phone number into Cloze and sent you an anonymous message. They have not revealed themselves to you in any way.
Your phone number is never stored in plain text. It is immediately hashed (SHA-256 + random salt) and automatically deleted 7 days after the confession expires.
You are not required to download the app or respond in any way. You can also permanently block all future messages and request deletion of your data below.

Not through us. Cloze is designed so that we cannot reveal the sender's identity. The only way to find out is to download the app and correctly guess who sent it — which is entirely your choice.
No. Cloze is a legitimate app. Someone you know in real life used it to send you a message. We comply with global anti-spam regulations including CAN-SPAM, PECR, and ACMA guidelines.
Each Cloze user can only send you one message per confession period. However, if you would like to permanently block all future messages to your number, use the opt-out form above.
Your phone number is hashed immediately and automatically deleted 7 days after the confession expires. We never store your number in plain text.
